Man, 80, Airlifted With Serious Injuries Following Warren County Crash

An 80-year-old Belvidere man was airlifted with serious injuries following a Thursday morning crash in Warren County, authorities said.

The man was driving a 1998 Nissan east bound on Jensen Drive in Oxford and failed to yield to a 2011 Toyota traveling north on Mt. Pisgah Avenue, causing a collision just before 11:50 a.m., Washington Township police said.

The man was airlifted via Atlantic Air 1 to Morristown Medical Center for treatment of serious injuries, police said.

The Toyota driver — a 37-year-old woman from Belvidere — was treated at the scene by the Washington Emergency Squad.

The crash remains under investigation, police said.

Assisting agencies include the Oxford Township Emergency Squad, Oxford Township Fire Department and the Mt. Lake Fire Department.
