1 Hospitalized With Head Laceration After Hunterdon County Driver Runs Red Light, Slams 2 Cars

One person was hospitalized with a head laceration after a driver ran a red light and struck two other vehicles in Hunterdon County Wednesday night, police said.

The crash occurred at the intersection of Commerce Street and Route 202/31 in Raritan Township around 9:55 p.m. Wednesday, May 10, the Flemington-Raritan First Aid and Rescue Squad said.

A vehicle ran a red light at the intersection and collided with two vehicles that were turning left from Commerce Street onto Route 202/31, Police Lt. Scott Nelson told Daily Voice.

One person was taken to Hunterdon Medical Center with a head laceration, Nelson said.

Meanwhile, another refused treatment at the scene.

The investigation was ongoing. No further details were released.
