The Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority train had just departed from the Trenton Transportation Center and was traveling slowly when it derailed not long after 11 a.m., NJ.com reported citing company spokesperson Andrew Busch.

A photo from Fox29 showed at least two of the train cars off their tracks.

No injuries had been reported.

While most SEPTA services in Trenton remained suspended in both directions as a result of equipment issues, outbound train #717 was planned to make all stops, while other trains were operating with delays, the company said.
