SEEN HIM? Suspect Identified In Linden Shooting

A 26-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder and other offenses in connection with a shooting Friday night, police in Linden said.

A 49-year-old man was wounded around 8:15 p.m. inside a Cedar Avenue home, police said. He was taken to University Hospital for treatment.

Derrick Merisma has also been charged with aggravated assault and weapons offenses, police said. He remains at large.
