A worker was hurt Monday morning while repairing a damaged utility pole in Elizabeth, PSE&G said in a statement.
The worker was working on a damaged pole around 10 a.m. on Cherry Street when he was hurt. The utility did not specify the nature of the injury, but said the worker was transported to the burn unit at St,. Barnabas Medical Center for treatment.
The worker was conscious when he was transported.
The incident is under investigation, PSE&G also said.
