Clumsy Bird May To Blame For 2,000 Without Power In Linden

More than 2,000 people were without power in Linden Tuesday afternoon.

Unofficial reports say a bird took down a high voltage line on 3700 Wood Avenue around 3 p.m.

Police Lt. Christopher Guenther could not confirm the cause of the outage.

PSE&G was on scene restoring power to locals.
