Teaneck Baseball Team Caps Perfect Season With Championship

The 12-and-under travel team defeated Stony Point 6-5 at home in Votee Park on Nov. 15, Jewish Link of New Jersey reports.

Teaneck came from behind, trailing 6-4 in the sixth inning, before rallying to finish off a perfect season, the report says.

The win marked the sixth championship in the PBI Fall Baseball League since 2003 for Teaneck, it says.

The team included Akiva Boyarsky, Netanal Eckman, Aaron Epstein, Yis Kaminetzky, Abie Schwartz, Natan Solomon, Yair Wall, Caleb Wolin, Eli Zaretzky and Joey Zelig. Chaim Schwartz, Adam Wall and Ari Eckman coached the team, the article states.
