YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: An unfounded report that a Teaneck High School student who threatened another had a knife today led to a 45-minute lockdown and search.
Teaneck police responded just before 12:15 p.m. on a report of a possible weapon after one student threatened another, Deputy Police Chief Glenn O’Reilly told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.
“The school went into lockdown, a search by the police and school administrators turned up no weapon on or near the school grounds,” he said.
The lockdown ended just before 1 p.m.
An investigation was continuing, the deputy chief said.
