An employee of an Elizabeth garbage facility died in a massive fire Tuesday, May 10, city officials tell Daily Voice.
The fire at the Julia Street facility is believed to have originated in a piece of machinery around 2 p.m., bringing multiple companies to the scene, a city spokesperson said.
The victim's identity was not immediately released.
