WOOD-RIDGE, N.J. -- Aurea (Vargas) Cruz, of Wood-Ridge, died on Saturday, March 18. She was 72.
She was born in Lares, Puerto Rico, to the late Miguel Vargas and Margarita Colon.
She is survived by her children, Magda Cruz, and Oneida Cruz and her spouse Petrina Cruz, and her brothers, Eddie and Miguel Vargas. She was also preceded by her brothers, Budy Fradera, Jose Luis and Constancio Vargas.
Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. on Tuesday, March 21, at Costa Memorial Home, 170 Central Ave., in Hasbrouck Heights. The funeral will be from the funeral home at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, with a 9:30 a.m. funeral liturgy from the Church of the Assumption of Our Blessed Lady, in Wood-Ridge. Interment will follow, at Maple Grove Park Cemetery, in Hackensack.
