TEANECK, N.J. – Audrey H. (Steller) Occhipinti, of Teaneck, died Thursday, June 30. She was 96.
Born in Jersey City and raised in Ridgefield Park, she resided in Teaneck for 60 years. An avid reader, she enjoyed painting and art.
She was the wife of the late Peter Occhipinti; mother of Jo Ann Wilson, Lynne Reiman, Patricia Kelsch and the late Peter Occhipinti; grandmother of Christine Mappa, Lisa Milordo, the late Mark Reiman, Christine Prusiensky, Nicholas and Keith Noreika, Laura and David Devanna, Christin Benda and Michael Occhipinti; great-grandmother of Michael Mappa, Gianna and Rafaello Milordo, Natalie Prusiensky, Kaleb Wetter, Nicholas Noreika, Jr., Logan Noreika, Luca Brusco and Jacob Benda.
Visitation will be Sunday, July 3, from 4-8 p.m. at Vander Plaat-Caggiano Funeral Home, 13-31 Saddle River Road, Fair Lawn.
A funeral service is planned for Tuesday, July 5, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Hackensack.
