Teaneck To Waive Parking Fees Ahead Of Snow

TEANECK, N.J. -- As residents scurry about getting ready for this weekend's snow storm, city officials said they would waive all time restrictions and parking meter fees for municipal parking lots beginning at 3 p.m. Friday and ending 24 hours after the snow stops.

This weekend's weather calls for:

  •  Friday night: A chance of snow after midnight. Cloudy, with a low around 21. Wind chill values between 10 and 15. Light north wind becoming northeast 9 to 14 mph in the evening. Chance of precipitation is 40 percent.
  • Saturday: Snow; heavy at times. High near 29. Blustery, with a northeast wind 17 to 23 mph, with gusts as high as 34 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent. New snow accumulation of 3-7 inches possible.
  • Sunday: A chance of snow before noon. Mostly sunny, with a high near 35. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent.
