TEANECK, N.J. — New Jersey Senate has confirmed Teaneck’s Christopher S. Porrino as the state’s attorney general in a 37-0 vote, NorthJersey.com reports.
Monday’s decisions came more that three years after the last permanent appointee had left the office, the article says.
Portion was nominated by New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, “a close adviser and personal friend,” to be the state’s law enforcement officer in July, NorthJersey.com says.
