Final paving should begin within the next few weeks and upper bridge work will continue through December, causing lane shifts for the removal of bridge gates, local officials were told during a briefing this morning by the New Jersey Department of Transportation and Conti Construction.

A pump station should be in operation in late November. Landscaping and beautification have already begun.

“A few more weeks of annoying traffic but the results of the project will be worth it,” said Little Ferry Mayor Mauro Raguseo. “Progress in Little Ferry!”
