Here's How Many Are Still Without Power In Westchester

Hundreds in Westchester are still without power following the recent rash of whipping winds and rains that felled power lines and downed trees in the area.

As of 9:10 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 18, Con Edison utility crews were still dealing with 16 reported outages, impacting 277 of their 348,198 customers. An additional seven outages were being reported by NYSEG customers.

In New Rochelle 165 residents were reporting outages, while 95 Greenburgh residents were still impacted. Other outages were reported in Bedford, Lewisboro, Pound Ridge, Somers, Yorktown, Cortlandt, Harrison, Mount Vernon, Port Chester, Rye, Scarsdale, Sleepy Hollow, White Plains, and Yonkers.

Complete restoration for all residents is expected no later than 1 p.m. on Friday.
