Beginning at 10 p.m. and lasting until 10 a.m. Saturday, access will be blocked to the upper-level George Washington Bridge tolls from Bruce Reynolds Boulevard and Park Avenue because of a milling and paving project.

Park Avenue will be closed to all vehicles first, beginning at 7 p.m., officials said.

Bruce Reynolds Boulevard's eastbound lanes, meanwhile, will have one lane of traffic in each direction until 10 p.m.

At 10 o'clock, the boulevard will be closed entirely between Lemoine and Park avenues. So will the Park Avenue intersection, the Fort Lee Police Traffic Bureau said.

Uniformed officers will be posted to help motorists with detours.

As alternatives, drivers can head up Hudson Terrace to the PIP entrance to the bridge, come in off northbound Linwood Avenue or access eastbound Route 95 from Jones Road.
