TEANECK, N.J. — A program covering the Silent Screen through the Golden Age takes place on Friday, Jan. 29 at the Teaneck Public Library.
The library’s Isabelle and Sol Hermalyn Lecture Series continues with the Friday Morning Group. Walter Choroszewski reviews some of the best romantic movies ever made with stories about the on-screen celebrity couples and their off-screen love lives. He will also showcase Hollywood’s longest-lasting marriages and contrast them with some of the shortest and most unusual romances.
For over 30 years Choroszewski has also promoted New Jersey through his public speaking and programs. “NEW JERSEY Celebrate Your State” and “Timeline New Jersey” received an Award of Recognition from the New Jersey Historical Commission in 2011. He maintains an active lecture schedule with over 200 annual presentations to New Jersey schools, libraries and organizations.
The public is welcome to attend this free program to be held in the library auditorium. Coffee and socializing session starts at 10 a.m., followed by the lecture at 10:30 a.m.
The library is located at 840 Teaneck Road at the corner of Cedar Lane in Teaneck.
