TEANECK, N.J. -- Lee Porter, executive director of the Fair Housing Council in Northern New Jersey, will speak Sunday at a forum hosted by the Ethical Culture Society of Bergen County in Teaneck.
Porter, who is affectionately known as the "Mother of Fair Housing," will discuss the effect on society of discrimination in housing.
The Ethical Culture Society's speakers will offer thoughts related to the philosophy of humanism or share their experiences and commitments in the struggle to foster peace, justice, economic fairness and racial and religious harmony.
Everyone is invited to this platform meeting, which is from 10:30 a.m. to noon.
The Ethical Culture Society of Bergen County is at 687 Larch Ave, Teaneck.
