Carlstadt Theatrical Honored As NJ Small Manufacturer Of Year

CARLSTADT, N.J. — The New Jersey Manufacturing Extension Program and NJBIZ has honored City Theatrical Inc. in Carlstadt as the state's Small Manufacturer of the Year.“Three years after the wrath of Hurricane Sandy, Gary Fails and his remarkable team have managed to revitalize City Theatrical Inc.,” state Assemblyman Gary Schaer said after touring the facility on Thursday with fellow legislator Marlene Caride. “After boldly changing their business model to stay afloat, today they are having a record day in sales.”

Schaer and Caride presented a joint legislative resolution saluting the staff.

"They are a true New Jersey success story," Caride said. "After being flooded with 10 feet of water from Hurricane Sandy, they rebuilt and are now more successful than ever."

City Theatrical is renowned as a world leader in the design, development, and manufacturing of entertainment lighting and accessories. The company is also respected as a pioneer in wireless DMX technology.
