Sussex County Tractor-Trailer Crash Shuts Down Route 206

A car slammed into the back of a tractor-trailer Thursday morning, causing a nearly 2-hour shutdown of Route 206 southbound in Sussex County, state police said.

The driver of a Subaru Impreza slammed into the back of the truck near milepost 128.7 in Montague around 5:20 a.m., NJSP Sgt. Lawrence Peele told Daily Voice.

The road was reopened around 7:10 a.m., Peele said.

No serious injuries were reported in the crash, which remained under investigation.
