Born in Newton, Ashley worked as a certified heavy equipment operator at Service Concrete in Hamburg and later spent five years with Fields of Green Landscaping in Sparta before moving to Milford, PA, his obituary says.
Ashley was a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys and enjoyed watching Nascar, his memorial says.
Ashley is survived by his loving son, Otis Ellison; his mother, Laura L. Fountaine; his father, Brian D. Ashley; his brother, Dan Ashley; his sisters, Heather Ashley and her longtime boyfriend Kyle, Dawn Ashley-Jermion and Tiffany and Brittany Ashley; his sister-in-law, Stephanie Burse; his maternal grandparents, Marge and Raymond Fountaine; as well as several nieces, nephews and close friends.
Ashley’s funeral was held Sept. 14 at Pinkel Funeral Home on Bank Street in Sussex.
