WAYNE, N.J.– Passaic County Sheriff Richard H. Berdnik wants participants to "push themselves to the limit" at this summer's Junior Police Academy in Wayne.

If you're an 11-to-14-year-old Passaic County resident "up for the challenge," you can join either the Aug. 1-5 or Aug. 8-12 session, the sheriff said Friday.

Both run from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily at the Passaic County Police Academy, 214 Oldham Road.
