PASSAIC, N.J. — Passaic Mayor Alex D. Blanco announced the promotions of three firefighters Wednesday.

Christopher Di Bella was promoted to fire battalion chief, John Hayowyk to captain, and John J. Tuohy to lieutenant.

Blanco said he was proud to see the promotion of three "great gentlemen."
