Gregory Kaprelian “used the Internet to view, download, possess, distribute, and share files depicting nude and/or sexually explicit prepubescent and pubescent children,” Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said.
Cyber Crimes Unit detectives arrested Karprelian during a raid at his home off Fairlawn Parkway on Thursday.
They collected more than 1,000 images, according to police records.
Kaprelian remained held Friday in the Bergen County Jail pending a first appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack on child porn possession and distribution charges.
Musella thanked Saddle Brook police as well as members of the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office and Lyndhurst Police Department who participate in his Cyber Crimes Task Force.
