WAYNE, N.J. -- The Lakeland Unitarian Universalist Fellowship in Wayne will host a lecture on Ghana on Sunday, March 6.
Guest speaker Gladys Amoakoh will discuss Akan cultures and traditions of her birth county. She will focus on the traditional celebrations in Ghana of the four stages of individual people's lives -- naming, puberty, marriage and death --- and why they are considered so important.
The discussion will take place during the 11 a.m. service.
