Aurelio Pitre-Montalvo, 50, is wanted for failing to appear in Lehigh County Court of Common Pleas, according to the PA Fugitive Task Force.

Pitre-Montalvo was initially charged with possession with intent to deliver 3,000 bags of heroin, police said.

Pitre-Montalvo is also wanted in New York on similar charges and is accused of fleeing Pennsylvania to Puerto Rico last October to avoid prosecution. He may have also fled to the Dominican Republic, authorities said.

Pitre-Montalvo was previously charged with similar heroin possession and distribution offenses in Allentown in 2014, LehighValleyLive reported.

Pitre-Montalvo is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached.
