Winner: Mega Millions Player Takes Home $10K In South Jersey, Jackpot Rolls To $402M

There was one lucky winner from Friday's Mega Millions drawing in Atlantic County, officials said.

The third-tier prizewinning ticket was sold at Shoprite of English Creek, 3003 English Creek Ave. in Egg Harbor Township, state Lottery officials said.

Meanwhile, the Mega Millions jackpot has been increased to $402 million for Tuesday night’s drawing. The Mega Millions jackpot was last hit in New York on February 16 for $96 million.

Friday's winning ticket matched four of the five white balls and the Gold Mega Ball drawn to win the $10,000 prize. 

The winning numbers for the May 7, drawing were: 05, 10, 19, 21, and 50. The Gold Mega Ball was 10, and the Megaplier Multiplier was 04.

In addition to the third-tier prize won, 49 players matched four of the five white balls drawn making each ticket worth $500. Seven of those tickets were purchased with the Megaplier option, multiplying the prizes to $2,000. 

The Mega Millions jackpot now rolls to $396 million.
