Route 46 Crash Brings Traffic Down To One Lane

A crash on Route 46 in Clifton shut down two of three westbound lanes Monday morning, the New Jersey Department of Transportation said.

The incident happened west of the Garden State Parkway, NJDOT reported at 10:27 a.m. on Monday, May 5.

Two left lanes were closed, and traffic was backing up in the area. Drivers were urged to expect delays and seek alternate routes.
