Speeding Teen Crashes Parents' Corvette In Edison

A 17-year-old driver was speeding before crashing his parents' Corvette overnight in Edison, authorities said.

The driver damaged the entrance to Pierre's Deli on Georges Road around 1 a.m., totaling the car, South Brunswick police said.

The driver was issued a summons. Police said speed was the reason for the crash.
