ELMWOOD PARK, N.J. -- Flames blew through the back of an Elmwood Park house late Sunday morning, as a spree of residential and commercial fires that began in Bergen County on Saturday night continued.
The Washington Avenue call came in around 11:30 a.m. -- hours after firefighters throughout the county wrestled with a series of wind-swept blazes.
Fair Lawn, Garfield and Saddle Brook firefighters were among the responders.
