ELMWOOD PARK, N.J. -- Longtime Elmwood Park resident Violet (Gallo) De Gregorio died Friday, Jan. 29. She was 93.
A homemaker, De Gregorio was a parishioner of St. Leo's Church in Elmwood Park.
She is survived by her children, Susan Rosen and husband Dr. Jay of Highland Mills, N.Y., Cindy De Gregorio Roper of Cape Coral, Fla., Robert De Gregorio Jr. and wife Chris of Stockholm, and Richard De Gregorio and his wife Denise of Elmwood Park; grandchildren William De Gregorio, Robert De Gregorio, Cassandra Symons, Jacquelyn De Gregorio, Robert De Gregorio III, Ashely Roper, Michael Roper, Richard De Gregorio Jr. and Bianca De Gregorio surviving; and seven great-grandchildren.
De Gregorio was predeceased by her husband, Robert De Gregorio.
Visiting hours will be from 4-8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 1, at Patrick J. Conte Funeral Home, 274 Market St., Elmwood Park. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 2, at St. Leo's in Elmwood Park; attendees are asked to arrive at the funeral home by 9:15 a.m. Entombment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Paterson.
