ELMWOOD PARK, N.J. -- Mary Lipscomb, 71, of Elmwood Park, died Friday, Oct. 14.
She was born Oct. 23, 1944, in East Paterson (Elmwood Park), and was a lifelong resident of the borough.
She was a concierge for 16 years for Sunrise Assisted Living in Paramus. Prior to Sunrise, she worked for New Jersey Bell for 31 years in customer service. She was a parishioner of St. Leo's R. C. Church in Elmwood Park.
She is survived by her husband, Paul; children, Rebecca, Paul and Shelly; sister Katherine; and six grandchildren.
There will be a funeral at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the Patrick J. Conte Funeral Home Inc., 274 Market St., Elmwood Park followed by a 10 a.m. funeral Mass at St. Leo's R.C. Church, 324 Market St., Elmwood Park. Cremation will be private. Visiting hours are from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory for Villa Marie Claire would be appreciated.
