Walker's "Garlic Butter Blast" sauce won a fan vote in the WingZone restaurant's Flavor Face-Off competition. Walker, 40, found out about his win in early October and said he was excited to come out on top.

For his efforts, the tattoo artist brought home a 46-inch TV and his recipe will be added to the WingZone menu.

In the finals, Walker went up against an "Orange Krush" flavor. The Hackensack High School graduate's dish received nearly 500 more votes than the opposition.

"It was kind of a landslide," Walker told Daily Voice. "It was nice not to have to sweat it out at the last moment."

Walker entered after spotting a notice on Facebook.

Once the field was narrowed down to 32, the process lasted about five weeks.

Walker lives with his wife, Chrissy, and two children in Saddle Brook.

When she comes home from work, Chrissy Walker said, she's always excited to have a meal cooked by her husband.

"No matter what it is -- meat, chicken, even fish," he said, "it's always garlic and butter in my recipe."
