The incident happened around 7:10 p.m. on Sunday, April 6, on East 54th Street, Elmwood Park Police Chief Michael Foligno said.
First responders arrived and began CPR at the scene, Foligno said.
The man was taken to St. Joe’s Hospital, where he was pronounced dead by hospital staff.
