Elmwood Park Centennial Parade Set For June

ELMWOOD PARK, N.J. -- The East Paterson/Elmwood Park Centennial Parade will be held on Sunday, June 12.

It's not too late to register to have a float in the June 12 Centennial Parade.

Some of the parade participants will include: An Elmwood Park Police Escort, the current Elmwood Park Memorial High School Band and Alumni Band, Current and former mayors and Council members, Elmwood Park Boys and Girls Scouts, VFW, American Legion, a selection of Classic Cars, Police, Bergen County Sheriff’s Department.

Special participants include the Famous Hawthorne Caballeros, Aqua String Band of the Philadelphia Mummers, the Princeton Bushwackers Marching Band, The Fusion Core of Morris County, Morristown Drumline, former high school graduates Cora Ann Mihalik (a former Fox Newscaster) and Diane Peterson (a current Hollywood Stuntwoman), Jack Cleeland the founder of the Elmwood Park Athletic Hall of Fame, Dr. William Librera, New Jersey's Commissioner of Education.

The parade steps off at 11 a.m. at Elmwood Park Memorial High School and ends at the Pine Street entrance to Memorial Field.
