EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Kindergarten teacher Beth Narkiewicz has been named Teacher of the Year for East Rutherford's McKenzie School.

Narkiewicz was honored by East Rutherford Board of Education President Paul Weiss and Superintendent of Schools Joseph Abate at the board's May 25 meeting.

For Alfred S. Faust School, math teacher Loren Koch was named Teacher of the Year.
