Rutherford Crash Sends Driver To Hospital

RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- A crash on a Rutherford side street Saturday night left a car on its side on a resident's lawn.

The crash occurred around 8:15 p.m.

The Lyndhurst Police Volunteer Emergency Squad took the female driver of that car to the hospital with undetermined injuries after the 8:15 p.m. crash near the corner of West Passaic and Mortimer avenues.

Rutherford firefighters got her out of the car.

Two occupants of the other vehicle appeared fine, witnesses said.
