The woman was outside of the crosswalk when she was hit around 8 p.m. at Route 1 and North Avenue East, City Spokeswoman Kelly Martins said.
EMS rendered first aid to the woman, who was later pronounced dead at the hospital, authoriteis said.
"The truck driver remained at the scene, fully cooperated and turned over everything," Martins said. "No alcohol or drugs were involved, it seems to be a tragic accident."
The woman had not been identified as of Friday morning.
