He was born on St. Patrick’s Day to Vincent and Grace (Santoro) Calviello, in Brooklyn. He was a US Army Veteran. He and his wife Judith were married for 55 years and raised their three children in Rutherford, where they remained. He was a Computer Programmer, formerly employed by Price Waterhouse, Metromedia and Philip Brothers, before retiring 20 years ago. He was an avid NY Giants and Brooklyn Dodgers fan, an active member of the Church of Saint Mary in Rutherford and one of the founders of Star Fish of Rutherford. He was a very patient man and dearly loved by his family and those who were fortunate to know him.
He is survived by his wife, Judith (Merikle); his children, Deborah Calviello and spouse Elaine Rosenfeld, Susan Farina and spouse Terri Farina, David Calviello and spouse Amanda; grandchildren, Vincent, Nicholas, Melina, Jake, Aidan, Connor; great-grandchildren, Julian, Vienna, Daniel; and his sister, Sr.Theresa Calviello, SFP.
Private cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Mary High School, 64 Chestnut St., Rutherford, NJ 07070 would be greatly appreciated.
