Richard Pieluc, 93, Of Rutherford

RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Richard Pieluc, of Rutherford, died Friday, Nov. 18. He was 93. 

Born to Walter & Eugena Pieluc in Jersey City, he was a proud U.S Army veteran of World War II. He was a machinist for Westinghouse for 40 years in Jersey City before retiring in 1991. He was a member of the Polish Club, but he particularly enjoyed bowling with the Senior Bowlers, crossword puzzles and his children and grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his wife, Helen. 

He is survived by his children, Lori and Donna; and grandchildren, John and his wife Melissa, Robbie, Melanie and Timmy.

A funeral will be conducted at, 8:30 a.m.Tuesday at the Calhoun-Mania Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Ave., Rutherford followed by a 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Liturgy in The Church of Saint Mary, 91 Home Ave., Rutherford. Entombment will be in Holy Cross Mausoleum in North Arlington. The family will receive friends from 3-8 p.m. Monday with a 7 p.m. wake service at the funeral home.
