CARLSTADT, N.J. -- Michael John Beggs, a lifelong resident of Carlstadt, died Thursday, Feb.25. He was 57.
He was the proprietor of Beggs Electric in Carlstadt, working as an electrician for 40 years with his late father, who started the business.
He is survived by his sons, Michael John Beggs Jr. and Mickey Daniel Beggs. He was the son of Anna A. Beggs and the late George R. Beggs; and brother of Barbara Ann Beggs, John W. Beggs and Patrick G. Beggs.
He was predeceased by his wife, MaryAnn Beggs.
Cremation was private. A memorial visitation will be held at the Kimak Funeral Home, 425 Broad St., Carlstadt, on Tuesday, March 1, from 4-8 p.m. with a service at 7 p.m.
