RUTHERFORD, N.J. — The Rutherford Board of Health honored retiring Public Health Physician Ira Kurz at the March 28 Council meeting.
Kurz, who runs a medical practice in Rutherford, has served as the Public Health Physician for the Board of Health for 13 years.
"The members of the Rutherford Board of Health realize to the fullest extent the benefits of the services provided by Doctor Ira Kurz to the Borough by assisting at various medical screening programs, school physicals and providing standing orders for the public health nurses to conduct screenings services to Borough residents," Board of Health President Andrew Bertone said.
