RUTHERFORD, N.J.– The Junior Woman’s Club of Rutherford's 9th annual Fourth of July Chalk Drawing Contest produced several winners in each category.

Ages 7 and below

  • First place: Dhviti Tank
  • Second place: Anshul Mallempati
  • Third place: Adrianna Morales

Ages 8 and up

  • First place: Jodi DeSalvo
  • Second place: Helen Zhang
  • Third place: Nazar Fedarko

A record 44 children participated and drew pictures of what “America the Beautiful” means to them. 

The event was held Monday in Lincoln Park following the 85th annual Baby Parade.
