Cliffside Park Pet Rescue Gets In On #GivingTuesday

CLIFFSIDE PARK. N.J. -- #GivingTuesday has taken on another meaning for the first time this year, it’s also National Giving Day, and Bergen County Protect and Rescue Foundation is seeking donations to help.

Inspired to help make a difference in the animal world, BCP&R was created. It is a 501c(3) non-profit, volunteer operated, no-kill animal shelter.

BCP&R is a member of the Amazon Smile program that helps support non-profits by allowing shoppers to use a designated link to make their Amazon.com purchases. In return, Amazon will donate a portion of an eligible purchase to the shelter, visit smile.amazon.com and select Bergen County Protect and Rescue Foundation for the charity of choice.

Donations of pet beds are also need through BCPR Give a Pet a Bed for Christmas. A wishlist is also posted on the website so people can choose other items that organization is wishing for this holiday season, items to keep the animals safe and warm with food and necessary supplies. 

Monetary donations can be made by visiting www.bcrescues.org and click on the donate button. Donations are made securely through PayPal.

Every day is a giving day for rescued animals so opt to adopt. Donations can be dropped off at 302 2nd Street, Cliffside Park, NJ 07010, or call for additional information, (201)- 945-0649.
