CARLSTADT, N.J. -- A Carlstadt warehouse was purchased by a Chinese textile company in January to be used as a distribution center, according to NorthJersey.com.
Loftex Logistics, LLC purchased the 53,000 square foot building $12.49 million. The purchase is just another example of the growing demand for warehouse space to better facilitate online shopping, NorthJersey.com reported.
Sitex Group built the warehouse at 1 Palmer Terrace after buying the plot in 2013. An office building previously occupied the location, NorthJersey.com said.
