The teenage son of a Glen Rock councilwoman who's also a BergenPAC administrator remained hospitalized with severe injuries following a weekend car crash. Teddy Martin, 18, reportedly suffered a broken tibia and femur, as well as kidney and spleen lacerations, in the collision in Alexandria, NJ shortly before 9 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 24. Martin was making a left from Whitehead Road onto Everittstown Road (Route 513) less than a mile from the Pittstown border when his Nissan collided with a Jeep, New Jersey State Police Trooper Troy McNair said. Glen Rock 18-Year-Old Airlifted In Hunterdon County Crash
Three people were injured in a two-car crash on County Road 513 in Hunterdon County on the evening of Saturday, Feb. 24, state police said. At 8:54 p.m., a Nissan traveling on Whitehead Road attempted to make a left onto County Road 513 and crashed into a Jeep SUV traveling southbound, Troy McNair, a spokesman for New Jersey State Police said. The collision caused the Jeep SUV to collide with a fence, McNair said. A 30-year-old Frenchtown man was identified and charged after stealing seven LGBTQ+ pride flags, authorities said. Officers responding to a report of several pride flags found in the Delaware River on Sunday, Aug. 28 led to the discovery of surveillance footage depicting Justin T. Settembrino committing the theft the previous night, Hunterdon County Prosecutor Renée M. Robeson said. Hunterdon County painter and father of a seven-month-old son Marvin Ernesto Lainez Alfaro died at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital New Brunswick on Wednesday, July 6 following a fearless four-year battle with leukemia. A raccoon has tested positive for rabies in Frenchtown, health officials said. The animal was seen acting erratically near Route 513 and Cedar Street and tested positive for rabies on Wednesday, Feb. 16, according to the Hunterdon County Dept. of Health. The DeSales University community is mourning the loss of a standout baseball player and two graduates killed in a weekend crash that left a senior student injured.
