Western Mass Mom Of 2 Allegedly Killed By Boyfriend ID'd As Sheriff's Assistant: DA A 48-year-old Hampden County woman who was found stabbed to death in Holyoke next to her boyfriend was the executive assistant to Hampden County Sheriff Nick Cocchi, authorities said.  Eileen Monaghan, of Chicopee, and a mother to two daughters, was found on Sunday, April 14, around 1:30 a.m. in a home on South Water Street after police were called for suspicious activity, officials said.  Police found Eileen on the ground next to her boyfriend, Jason Chapdelaine, who was suffering from stab wounds, police said. $100K Lottery Ticket Sold In Worcester It was a very lucky Monday, April 8, for one Bay Stater after they won $100,000 in the Massachusetts State Lottery.  The six-figure ticket was for the $30 scratch-off game "$15,000,000 Money Maker." It was purchased at Shaw's at 14 W Boylston St. in Worcester.   The winner's name was not released, but the store will receive a bonus for the sale.  They were one of 658 people who won $650 or more in the state lottery. Some Of The Bests Photos Of The Eclipse Taken Across Massachusetts While Massachusetts was not in the "totality zone" for Monday afternoon's solar eclipse, it still was a monumental event. Many Bay Staters snapped and shared impressive photos of the rare celestial event.  The zone of totality, where 100 percent of the sun was blocked by the moon, was a little more than 100 miles wide and stretched from Mexico to Maine. $1M Powerball Ticket Sold In Methuen The $1 billion Powerball lottery was claimed this weekend in Oregon, but some luck made its way to one winner in Massachusetts as they collected a seven-figure check from the drawing.  Millions of Powerball tickets were sold for the drawing on Saturday, April 6, but only one person got all the numbers, Powerball, and multiplier correct.
