On Friday, Jan. 20, New York Attorney General Letitia James announced the recovery of $422,598.21 from Fairfield Properties, one of the largest residential property owners on Long Island, after an investigation that found the company routinely violated housing and tenant protection laws. Trader Joe's Sets Opening Date For New Glastonbury Store Trader Joe's has announced the opening date for its new location in Connecticut.  The grocery store chain said the ribbon-cutting for the new store in the Hartford County town of Glastonbury will be held at 8 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 2. The store, located at 400 Hebron Ave., will be the chain's ninth location in the state. Trader Joe's said hiring efforts for the Glastonbury store are currently underway. The store will be open daily from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
