ONLY ON CVP: An injured deer slowed rush-hour traffic on Grove Street in Ridgewood just before 8 o’clock this morning.
Ridgewood Police Officer Paul Dinice got the fawn out of the street after finding it cut on both hips and above one eye.
He attempted to restrain it until animal control workers arrived, but the fawn broke free after about 20 minutes and dashed back into nearby woods.
Glen Rock Police Officer Murray Yang assisted.
