RIDGEWOOD, N.J. -- Thomas J. Cosgrove of Ridgewood died Sunday, Nov. 13. He was 38.
Cosgrove was born Dec. 31, 1977. He was an equity trader for his entire career.
Cosgrove was an avid tennis player and a coach to his children. He was passionate about music. His greatest loves in life were his wife and children.
A 1996 graduate of Ridgewood High School, Cosgrove earned a B.A. at Catholic University.
He is survived by his wife, Karen (Kmetz); his children, James and Nora; his parents, Jim and Linda (Christopher); his siblings, Carolyn (Michael) Treible, Katie Cosgrove and Allison (Christopher) Franzese; 11 nieces and nephews; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was son-in-law to David and Peggy Kmetz; brother-in-law to Dave (Mary) Kmetz, Joan (Michael) Smith and the late Michael Kmetz.
Visiting will be held Wednesday, Nov. 16, from 4-8 p.m. at the Feeney Funeral Home, 232 Franklin Ave., Ridgewood.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, Nov. 17, at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Church in Ridgewood, with interment to follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery in White Plains, N.Y.
